PHOTOGRAPHY

Károly Méhes is a Hungarian writer and poet who discovered photography later in his life. He became more and more inclined to express himself visually, and hope this medium stays with him for a very long time.
In his own words:
I was born in 1965 in Pécs, Hungary. Since 1991 I have been publishing poetry, short fiction and novels but besides my literary activity photography took its share in my life more and more. One says a photo can tell 1000 words – in this sense I could tell stories with some pics, though, in a different form then in my „previous life”. The photos for me are flashes from the vast flow of the world that all happened once. They sank, but not without a trace, because one can find the pictures on the screen or they hang on the wall. Each of them is a glimpse of my vanished life. Eternal rectangles which make me eternal as well for these little moments.
